I was wondering, would you be interested in translating the other 2ch "Shot from behind" threads, such as the Rubber Band saga, etc.? Those who have read Densha might be interested to know more about the lore.

Hello and thank you! The other threads are definitely on my list of things I'd like to translate when I have time. Sadly the endings aren't as happy as in Densha Otoko, but they're still pretty interesting.

Can i ask a question if you dont mind .I would like to purchase the train man .IS the uk version is a complete version ? because the last part was like post finish . Hi, I just wanted to thank you for doing and sharing the translation for Densha Otoko -- it was a wonderful story, getting me carried away and rooting for Train Man and Hermes, even if it happened a long time ago. :) I wish that they are enjoying happiness and love together. <3

i was accidentally read an translated manga but it was unfinished so i google it and found your site.
its really an very good story,so sad i never see the novel or the jdorama for this,my country was sux,the six part story was carried me along with it.i laugh and i cry.

so thank you for translating this real story :)
anyway anyone know are there any news about train man after they become a couple?i visit the site(bbs 2ch) but i really can't read japanese :(.

I've heard that Densha posted a few times on the couples BBS at 2ch, but I didn't see it myself. When the book was at its most popular in Japan, the publishing company said that Densha and Hermes wanted to remain anonymous, so I don't think we'll ever know what happened after.

I just picked up Del Rey's translation of Densha, and it pales in comparison to yours! Your translation of the slang, mannerisms, and tone of the Japanese people is amazingly accurate!

I heard bout del ray version of it stinks due to the translation it is true ?and the uk version was still at misssion 6 and the congrats part is not in there .How was the original stop till where (confused)
